Our girls came home for holidays (this year - to Florida). I always make something they would like for their annual visit. This year they liked a lot of stuff. I took pictures of them wearing their presents. The woolly wintery things look a little bit stupid on the pictures with palm trees and hammock on the back ground. See for yourself:

Wow, what lucky daughters .... the garments you knitted are beautiful! Love Longing and Wave by Kim Hargreaves! I have the Wave pattern and plan to make.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen! Actually I consider myself lucky since I remember too well the times when they would rather wear store-bought clothes. I am grateful that they appreciate my work now.
DeleteGood luck with the Wave pattern. Just make sure that you leave enough space for the armholes - you don't want them to be too tight.
